🔢ERC20-Converter

One of the most important building blocks for our ecosystem will be the ERC-20 Converter currently in development. This dApp will allow whitelisted REDD+ projects that have been tokenized on the Ethereum or Polygon blockchains to be wrapped and traded on Cardano, or burned and issued as corresponding Cardano-native tokens. This will allow large amounts of liquidity to be generated “from scratch” and expose holders to the advantages of the Cardano blockchain, for example if they want to hold their assets as part of the extremely fast and cost-effective Cardano portfolios, due to security and custody considerations, or to gain access to a more vibrant, ecology-conscious community. More complex bridges and cross-chain integrations are on the horizon, but the most basic building blocks in the form of wrapped REDD+ carbon credits and Cardano-lookalike versions of popular standards will launch very soon (for example ‎CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units).
